The School for
Deacons will hold a Day On
Campus -
Saturday November 21, 2009.

All Vocation Committee members,
Vestry and Bishop Committee members,
interested members of your
congregation, clergy and prospective
students are invited to attend.
Visitors are invited to come and
worship with the school community,
attend classes, meet and talk with
faculty and students, and learn more
about the diaconate and the formation
program at The School for Deacons.
The day begins at 7:45 a.m. with Holy
Eucharist in the All Saints’ Chapel
on the campus of The Church Divinity
School of the Pacific, 2451 Ridge
Road, Berkeley. After Eucharist,
there is a brief coffee/fellowship
time before morning classes begin.
Visitors will be able to sit-in on
classes and get “a taste” of the
academic and formation quality of the
curriculum at the School. Before
afternoon classes, lunch with faculty
and students, hosted by SFD, will
allow an opportunity for folks to ask
questions and get acquainted with the
esteemed faculty at the School. The
day concludes with Evening Prayer in
the Chapel at 5:45 p.m. Visitors may
come for the whole day or for the
morning or afternoon sessions.
